Annet Mahendru

Mahendru is a mother of Russian origin who was born in Afghanistan. Mahendru is fluent of German Russian and English and is also fluent in French Persian and Hindi. Her parents are Russian and Indian. The year 2011, the actress created an original choreography, which earned her the chance to be a guest on German TV as an Russian snowmaiden. She later became another Indian dancer. Following her graduation from the requirements for high school and college in New York, she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from St. John's University. She was a student of improv and comedy at Groundlings School after leaving HB Studio. She was born in Kabul Afghanistan by a Hindu/Indian father Ghanshan Mahendru and Russian-speaking mom Olga. She moved with her father to New York at the age of thirteen years old. She is a part of FX's The Americans alongside Matthew Rhys. Television actress who plays an ex- KGB agent Nina Sergeevna Krilova, on FX's The Americans. The actress has a regular role in The Following on Fox, The Following and NBC's The Blacklist.
